Come and join your fellow Part Time MBA classmates from all three campuses for a fun summer afternoon of whitewater tubing.  Drop the topics about classes and upcoming projects, pack your bathing suites, bring your choice of beverages, come to relax and make friends. 

Harpers Ferry is the most popular location for summer whitewater tubing, and it’s only approximately 1 hours of drive from DC Metro area.  Your ticket includes deli-style lunch, a PVC tube, life jacket, free parking (limited on weekends), and a great time being washed down the Potomac River. Age requirements may change due to the river’s conditions. Alcohol is not permitted on the river, but you can bring a cooler or rent one to place in another tube. River Riders also has a cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Tentative Itinerary:

11:00  --  Meet & Greet -- In front of River Riders

11:00 -- 12:00 -- Picnic Lunch --  Provided by PTMBAA at River Riders picnic area

12:00 - 12:30  --  Paper works, Gears  – In front of River Riders

12:30  --  Shuttle bus departs River Riders to launching point

13:00 --  16:00 Tubing, drinking, fun on the river

16:00 – 16:30 Shuttle back to River Riders, shower, clean up

Typical Packing List:

-          Bathing suit

-          Cap, visor, sun glasses

-          Sun block lotion

-          Towels

-          Sandals, old tennis shoes (food wear is highly recommended for protection)

-          Cloth to change into after you are done

-          Picnic style lunch, snacks, beverage of your choice

-          Plastic bags, zip-lock bags, dry bags if you have one

-          Water proof camera, video recorder

-          Business cards
